A wonderful family resort in the east of the alps. Great for beginners. Lots of blue & red runs. Great night time sledging. Loads of restaurants on the mountains with very friendly service. Big portions but not cheap but then ahow me a skiing resort that is. Much cheaper than france and Switzerland and italy.

Ski area consist of 4 hills to 1.800m, so everyone can find the slope which is fitting to him. On the hills, there was a pretty lot of restaurants or bars. There was a free parking place to leave a care in and drive with the lift directly to the entrance. When parking outside, you can put your skies on and by the snow go directly to the entrance to buy a tickets. Parking place was on asphalt so no dirt. The Schladming city is small but you can find there a restaurant for a quick dinner.

One of the most beautiful hotels I stayed in. The beauty of the hotel and the wonderful view of the mountain. The room number was 54, a studio with a balcony. It had all the necessary equipment for cooking in addition to all the kitchen utensils., They were very kind and helpful in everything. You need tourist places and attractions. Mainly stayed for bike parks and they have one of the best systems so you don't overheat in the gondola, love it, very kind, would always recommend! Schladming is a quaint little town with scenic views from everywhere. The town centre has nice bars spread out everywhere. However everything closes in this town by 5:30PM max and there may not be much night life to offer.

Couldn't be more convenient for skiing. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the hotel was modern and clean with fantastic views. A great breakfast was included, and you can actually eat dinner at their in-house restaurant. Another great feature is that they have their own ski rental shop on the ground floor. High quality equipment in excellent condition.

Plenty of space for a family of four. Ski-in via a 40-50m track off the main piste. Ski-out via a walk back up the same track. It's a 20-25 minute walk down the hill into Schladming (or the ski bus also stops just outside the apartment). We enjoyed two excellent meals in Ristorante Amalfi and Steakhouse Friesacher.
